Child Safety Standards
Annyeong is an 18+ social community operated by Marverik LLC and is committed to maintaining a safe environment for its users. We have zero tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) and Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
For these standards, “child” or “minor” means a person under 18.
Annyeong is an independent, fan-made project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to HYBE Corporation, BIGHIT MUSIC, or BTS.
1. Our zero-tolerance policy
Annyeong strictly prohibits any content, behaviour, communication, or activity that sexually exploits, abuses, endangers, or facilitates harm to a child. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM);
- sexual exploitation or sexualisation of minors;
- grooming, or attempting to establish contact with a child for sexual purposes;
- solicitation or exchange of sexual content involving minors;
- sextortion involving minors;
- trafficking or commercial sexual exploitation of children;
- requesting, creating, uploading, distributing, sharing, storing, promoting, or otherwise facilitating CSAE or CSAM through Annyeong;
- links or instructions intended to facilitate access to CSAM.
These standards apply to all user-generated content and interactions available through Annyeong — including profiles, profile photos, usernames and bios, messages, group conversations, uploaded or shared content, and shared links.
2. Annyeong is for adults only
Annyeong is intended exclusively for people aged 18 or older. Users must meet our minimum age requirement to create and maintain an account, as set out in our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
We may restrict an account while reviewing a credible concern that the user is under 18. If we determine that a user does not meet our minimum age requirement, the account will be removed.
Our 18+ requirement does not reduce or replace our commitment to preventing and responding to child sexual abuse and exploitation.
3. Reporting child-safety concerns
Users can report concerning users, profiles, conversations, or other supported content using the reporting tools available within Annyeong. Reports are handled confidentially and are not disclosed to the reported member, except where disclosure is required or permitted by law.
If you become aware of suspected child sexual abuse or exploitation connected to Annyeong, please report it through the in-app reporting tools or contact us at [email protected].
Do not download, save, forward, re-upload, or email suspected CSAM in order to report it. Use Annyeong’s reporting tools to identify the relevant account, conversation or content, or contact us with enough information for us to locate it.
If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact your local law-enforcement or emergency authorities immediately. Annyeong is not an emergency service.
4. How we respond
When Annyeong obtains actual knowledge of content or conduct that violates these standards, we take appropriate action based on the circumstances and applicable law.
Where CSAM is identified, we remove or disable access to it within the service as appropriate, while preserving relevant information where required for reporting, investigation, evidence preservation or compliance with applicable law.
Other actions may include:
- removing or restricting other prohibited content;
- restricting, suspending, or terminating accounts;
- reviewing and investigating reported activity in accordance with applicable procedures;
- preserving relevant information where required or permitted by law;
- reporting to, or cooperating with, competent authorities where required by law.
5. Reporting to authorities
Annyeong complies with applicable child-safety laws and regulations. Where we become aware of apparent child sexual abuse material, or of the apparent sexual exploitation, enticement or trafficking of a minor, we report it to NCMEC as required by law, and to other competent authorities where the law requires it. NCMEC is the U.S. National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. We cooperate with lawful requests and investigations from competent authorities.

7. Updates to these standards
We may update these Child Safety Standards as our services, safety practices, or legal obligations evolve.
